🤝 Get Involved in Your Community
Innishannon is made great by the people who give their time, energy, and enthusiasm to it. There are many ways to get involved — whether that is a few hours pulling weeds for Tidy Towns, helping organise the Steam Rally, coaching underage football at Valley Rovers, or simply contributing to the life of the parish in any way you can.
Tidy Towns
The Tidy Towns committee is always looking for volunteers to help with planting, litter picking, painting, and maintaining the beautiful appearance of the village. All are welcome, no experience needed — just enthusiasm and a pair of wellies! Get in touch via the contact form above.
Valley Rovers GAA
Valley Rovers is the sporting heart of Innishannon, with teams from juvenile to adult in football and camogie. Whether you want to play, coach, manage, or volunteer on match days, get in touch with the club.
Parish Events
The parish runs a range of events throughout the year, from fundraisers and fairs to the annual Steam & Vintage Rally. Volunteers are always needed. Contact the parish office for more information.
The Steam & Vintage Rally Committee
The annual Steam & Vintage Rally — one of Ireland’s biggest events of its kind — is entirely run by local volunteers. If you would like to get involved with organising or stewarding, contact the rally committee.
