  • Valley Rovers GAA Club — Innishannon’s GAA club, home to football and camogie, with grounds at The Bleach. The club generously donated the land for the community riverside walk and playground.
  • Community Playground (Clós Súgartha Inis Eonáin) — An excellent playground on the Valley Rovers grounds, suitable for a range of ages. Free to use, with a donation box at the entrance.
  • The Bleach Walk — 800m riverside path, open to all. Perfect for walking, jogging, and cycling.
  • Dromkeen Wood — Open woodland walking for all the family.
  • River Bandon Angling — Brown trout and salmon fishing; permits required.

🌺 Tidy Towns

Innishannon’s volunteer Tidy Towns committee is one of the hardest-working community groups in Cork. Their efforts have earned the village four national Tidy Towns awards — including two bronze medals, a landscaping award, and an endeavour award.
